Vintage Raceboat Regatta

Since 2006, Dr. Joseph, his family, and a very committed group of local volunteers have worked hard to put on an amazing event each year at Wheeling’s Heritage Port on the Ohio River called the Wheeling Vintage Raceboat Regatta. Every Labor Day weekend, dozens of vintage raceboats from all over the country come together to put on one of the largest exhibitions of vintage boats on the water for a crowd of 20,000 spectators! This free event is a labor of love for the Joseph family and all proceeds from souvenir sales and sponsorships are donated to Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center in Wheeling, WV.
